Martial arts are not only practised for self-defence, but also physical health, fitness, competition, spiritual and mental development. It is considered a traditional combat sport and usually tied to religious or cultural or ethnic background, in more recent years it is developed by associations or a founder. There are lots of different types of martial arts and following is some of them:

Senshido

It is a self-defence method which everyone can do as it is not based on size, athletic ability or strength.

Jui Jitso

Stems from ancient Japanese and mastered by Samuria it involves armed as well as unarmed combat. Human lethal weapons are created by this warrior training program.

Jujutsu

This type of martial arts are called the grandfather of all types and evolved in the Orient and believed to be one of the toughest to master

Kung Fu

Is an extremely effective combative style from the Chinese and harmonize action and thought and connects a person on a spiritual level with the world.

Karate

Is a Japanese and a very aggressive style of martial arts and very popular and practised worldwide.

It is not necessary to search for the deadliest style as any style when use effectively can be deadly. Attitude and instincts are what it is about and not being deadly or dangerous and if a martial arts expert is provoked beyond limit and pushed for survival, the animal instinct inside will be on high alert. In this instance such a person can be deadly regardless of the type of martial arts he may have mastered.
